King Air Charters are Perfect for Short Trips
Even though King Air charter flights are smaller, twin engine turbo propeller driven aircraft, they still have decent range and speed for short flights
Most King Air turbo prop airplanes have a range of 1200 miles or there abouts. The average speed on these lightweight aircraft is in the 250-350 MPH range, which is quite adequate for a flight under 800 miles. The majority of King Air chartered aircraft have a seating capacity of around 8 people plus two pilots. Though this aircraft is not a luxury jet, it still possesses some very luxurious amenities, such as very comfortable and relaxing seating. The baggage compartments are rather small on this plane and you should consider something larger if you are planning a ski vacation, but for a nice little golf vacation it is absolutely ideal.
There is not standing room on the King Air models, so they normally will not come with a flight attendant, but there is plenty of room to make sure you and your guests are very comfortable, your charter jet service will typically include a refreshment center in the ample seating area. Each side of the aircraft has five porthole windows to view the land underneath as you clip along to your travel destination.
The majority of King air charter flights will allow pets also, this is a big plus for the small family flying to their travel destination without wanting to leave the German shepherd behind. So although this plane is a bit slow and not a lot of head room compared to a light executive jet, the price tag of chartering a flight on one of these King Air craft will also be drastically lower making it a more economical choice depending on how many people will be making the journey.
King Air charter aircraft are manufactured by Beechcraft, a leader quality aircraft for decades. You can feel safe while in King Air plane because they are quality and can handle more of a leap than your average puddle jumper. Unfortunately most of these craft are too small to be reviewed by the ARG/US, but WYVERN does comprehensive checks of these smaller craft to ensure your safety.
